Are you a shopper who misses perusing Trinidad’s eclectic mix of shops and their merchandise and wants to support our local businesses during this difficult time? Are you a merchant who would like to make your wares available to would-be shoppers despite COVID-19 closures? The Trinidad Historic Main Street Board has just the opportunity for you! Starting April 24th, 2020, and continuing on a weekly basis until further notice, the Trinidad Historic Main Street Board will be putting on a weekly “Cash Mob” every Friday from 6-8 p.m., which will feature merchandise from a different local merchant each time.
A Cash Mob is a live online event during which shoppers can view and commit to purchasing select items from a given merchant via a live-streamed video on the Trinidad Historic Main Street Board’s Facebook page. The merchant will then follow up after the event to collect payment and arrange for purchasers to get their items.
If you want to “attend” a Cash Mob, check out the list of scheduled merchants below and then visit the Trinidad Historic Main Street Board’s Facebook page for the live-streamed event on that date at 6 p.m.! Stay tuned for updates to this list, as more merchants will be scheduled to participate in the coming weeks.
