PWP Bags & Brews River Cleanup

It’s National Peanut Butter Lovers Day on the Purgatoire River as the Purgatoire River Partnership embarks on the March Cleanup.

Details for PWP Bags & Brews River Cleanup:

Date: Saturday March 1, 2025

Time: 10 AM

Location: Meet at the Safeway parking lot in downtown Trinidad, by the row of flags.

What Is Provided: Trash bags, brand new gloves, brand new safety vests, disinfecting wipes, water/other drinks What to Bring: Whatever additional personal protective gear you would like – sunscreen, hat, personal water bottle, your own gloves if you’d rather, etc

Logistics:

10:00 AM – We’ll hand out supplies, chat community updates, then start walking the river to clean up. You can leave your filled bags along the edge of the Riverwalk, or bring them back to the starting location. The event organizers will check the Riverwalk at the end of the event and collect all bags left along the way.

(Approximately) 12:00 PM – We’ll head over to Moose’s pub for a post-event social and celebration!
