Grand Opening Celebration Día de los Muertos
November 2 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm MST

The creative pulse of Trinidad just got a little louder — and a whole lot more vibrant. CrazyHeart Arts, the town’s newest artist-run gallery and collective, will open its doors with a Grand Opening Celebration on Sunday, November 2nd from 3–6 PM, in a spirited event aligning with the rich cultural traditions of Día de los Muertos.
Founded by 11 dynamic local artists working across a wide range of media — from painting and sculpture to jewelry, printmaking, sound, public art and installation — CrazyHeart Arts is more than a gallery. It’s a living, breathing creative space, a working studio, and a catalyst for collaboration in Trinidad’s growing arts scene.
“This collective was born out of the shared desire to not just show work, but to work together,” says Amanda, one of the founding members. “CrazyHeart is a space where art is made, discussed, and celebrated — not behind closed doors, but right in front of the community.”
Located in downtown Trinidad, CrazyHeart is artist-funded and self-run, reflecting a strong DIY ethic and a commitment to equity and shared labor. Visitors can expect an ever-evolving collection of contemporary work, from imaginative sculpture to emotionally raw paintings, unconventional installations, and beyond.
The Grand Opening on November 2nd will feature:
A curated group show by all 11 founding artists
Live music jams with local musicians collaborating on atmospheric sets
Food, drinks, and Día de los Muertos-themed decor
Community art engagement and opportunities to meet the artists
A few surprises that only CrazyHeart could deliver
