Earn Christmas Cash by Shopping Locally This Holiday Season
In Trinidad, the magic of the holiday season shines brightest when you shop locally. From the glow of downtown lights to the warmth of locally-owned shops, every purchase helps strengthen the community and support small businesses.
This year, when you shop at participating businesses, you’ll earn Christmas Cash to spend throughout the season!
Whether you’re searching for unique gifts, festive treats, or cozy winter essentials, shopping in Trinidad keeps holiday cheer (and dollars) close to home.
How It Works
From October 20 at 8 am through December 24 at 5 pm, earn $1 in Christmas Cash for every $10 spent (pre-tax) at participating local businesses—up to $250 per qualified purchase. Cannot be used for lottery, liquor, tobacco, marijuana, auto body, medical, dental, or vision.
To claim your Christmas Cash, bring your receipts to City Hall, Carnegie Public Library, Colorado Welcome Center, or Space to Create. City staff will verify the total and issue your Christmas Cash, rounding down to the next dollar at $5 dollars and up at $6 dollars, based on the purchase cost (excluding tax). Receipts must show the business name and purchase date within the program period.
Christmas Cash can be redeemed like regular money at participating businesses through December 31, 2025.
