Scramble up to Simpson’s Rest – one of the most panoramic views of the Purgatoire River Valley. The 1.2 out-and-back gravel road trail offers a moderately challenging experience for intrepid cyclists and hikers. Cars are also permitted along this route. To take this hike, start on the western end of North Avenue in Trinidad.
