Dedicated in 1885, the church combines Georgian and Romanesque styles. Felipe Baca, one of Trinidad’s founders, built an original adobe church on the site. Baca donated some land to be sold and, along with other fundraising efforts spanning two years, funds were secured to build the church.
The church’s interior reflects a mix of cultures, including paintings, stained glass windows, and statues of several saints. The church holds multiple Masses weekly.
