This 2.3-mile section is open to hikers and mountain bikers. From the mid-mountain trail hub at the Challenge Hill Section, this trail snakes up through oak communities, dramatic rock outcrops, and towering ponderosa pines. You’ll reach the upper saddle below Osita Point and can look up to see Fishers Peak towering overhead.
Keep the pups at home. Dogs are not currently permitted in the park.
