Look down to follow six miles of red cobblestone brick roads that mark our historic district. Then, look up to take in over 140 original buildings dating back to the late 1800s, including 55 incredible examples of Victorian commercial architecture in the western United States. Other buildings showcase architectural styles like Pueblo, Queen Anne, Italianate, Gothic, Mediterranean, Romanesque, and Beaux-Arts.
Our Historic District is also home to iconic museums like the Trinidad Historic Museum, A.R. Mitchell Museum of Western Art, and the Southern Colorado Coal Miners Memorial & Museum.
