This 0.5-mile dirt loop parallels the riverbank, where lush vegetation and abundant wildlife thrive. Old-growth cottonwood trees line your path, providing a canopy of shade and beautiful foliage.
Access the trailhead by turning south onto Alta Street off Highway 12 across from Mt. Carmel Wellness and Community Center. When Alta Street makes a 90-degree turn to the east, it becomes Boulevard Street. The trailhead is at the end of this street.
