The Bear Lake Campground, a developed site with trailer parking and tent camping, is just ¼-mile from the lake. The trailhead for Indian Trail #1300, a 23-mile trail system open to ATVs, motorcycles, mountain bikers, hikers, and horses is accessible on the north side of this campground. There is also a 0.75-mile, non-motorized trail connecting Bear Lake and Blue Lake.
