Wind through this 0.7-mile, out-and-back trail that leads from the ridge down to the shore of Trinidad Lake. You’ll weave through piñon and juniper forests and peep views of Fishers Peak rising east of Trinidad. When the trail leads you back up Caprios Ridge, you can continue along the paved Park View Trail to various overlooks and some Santa Fe Trail historical markers.
